Hi all
I tried to generate the below horizontal DIMFIT (option 3 setting) arrow/leader arrangement ("105 CHANNEL BASE HEIGHT" dimension) but for reasons best known to AutoCAD LT l was unable to create it with the DIMASO (On) setting. I instead had to explode the dimension and knife-and-fork it to appear the presented way. Basically, AuotCAD did not allow me to make a vertical
DIMFIT (3)-style dimension with horizontally-positioned text. Is there a setting to allow this to happen or does a dimension appearance such as this go against the grain of any ISO, ANSI, DIN, etc, dimension style and thus l cannot generate it normally?
Many thanks

Are you just asking how to create this look (vertical dimension with underlined horizontal text) using the core DIMSTYLE command abilities and settings?
Yes, indeed Pendean. Weird how it didn't want to initially create it but now it does - strange? Operator error obviously!
🤣
