Hatch Transparency doesn't keep

On some of the models I've created, the Hatch Transparency doesn't keep and reverts to 0 when I open the file back up after saving. I save all of my drawings in AutoCAD 2000 format for backwards compatability and also as a dxf file.

R2000 format did not have transparency as an option: so knocking files down that far tends to remove features that did not exit 16-years ago.

Thanks Dean, that does make sense. I have saved it out as AC 2013 format and will see if they resolves the issue.
