Hatch pick point

Actually this not a question ! I use Autocad since 1996. Autodesk must completely delete hatch command from program and design it again from zero point. İt is getting worst. I hate drawing, when I have to hatch. Blocks problem, splines problem, texts problem, dimensions problem. İt never works properly. And Autodesk  can not do anything about it. As a result we users can not 'pick point' !

You can tell Autodesk all about it here https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback

We are all just end users like you, all you are doing here is shouting in a public park and getting stares from passers by.

Good luck.

If you just want to rant then maybe start a youtube channel!. Personally I have never had problems with the hatch command, if you have some definite examples and can share a drawing then maybe someone could help find where your issues are.

@KADRİ.ARABALİ - you'll save time in the long run if you'll create a closed object _first_ and then select that object to hatch. Always been this way.

This is what I say. Why on earth I have to do that? İf it does not work why there is a choice '' pick point ''

I watch videos. I say it should be much more simple. When you use pick point program show you (sometimes) where to close. İt should be easy. Because requirement is very simple.

Because, like other things in life over which you have no control, you can fight it and complain about it, or you can just use a workaround and move on with life/work.

Providing that feedback to Autodesk is good, but we've been doing that for a couple of decades now, so I wouldn't expect any changes soon.

So, you want me keep quiet. I was expecting people would say o yes me too with problem with it. You can not use one of most important command and simply accepted this situation. I would support me if I were you. İnteresting !

@KADRİ.ARABALİ - No, what I said was "we've been doing that for a couple of decades now", and it has not resulted in any changes.

Not at all, rant all you want it serves no purpose, I personally couldn't care less, but everyone here, is a user, and we answer here to try and help people get the results they need, or a workaround if they cannot get exactly what they are hoping for. So post an example and maybe someone could suggest a method to help you get the hatch command working.

Or don't, it's fun watching people bash their heads on a brick wall.

I do not want to  do unnecessary things to solve software developers stupid mistakes. I know how to use it. But it should be improved. It has to be much more easy. İt is not user friendly. I pass over this wall everyday and fed up.

İf you are happy with it you can go on.
