Grip Pop-Up Options

Hello,

I am trying to add a control point to a polyline. I hover over an existing point and the "stretch vertex; add vertex; remove vertex" options appear (see picture below). However, when I move the mouse (in any direction) to select an option, the box disappears immediately.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It's because you have already selected a vertex (the red square is the selected vertex), just deselect your polyline, select it once and then hover over the vertex when it's blue and you will be able to delete it (or do whatever you want with it)

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, it is still not working- I select the line once, and all points turn blue. I hover over them (not select) and they turn red. If I select a point, it automatically goes to the stretch command.

Don't click on the blue dot, just hover over it until it turns green on it's own then slide over the pop-up menu to do what you want: if it turns red it got picked by your mouse button, so you either have a very sensitive mouse button or your finger isn't off the pick button and you are unintentionally clicking or your mouse driver has a "click if I hover too long" option.

Confirm it's not your finger by using your other hand for the action. The others require you to replace mouse and turn off mouse-driver features.
