GENERAL START UP PROBLEMS

LT 2015 Loaded on a MacBook Pro in Trial Version.

No Ribbon or file tabs.

Cannot successfully set up a layout or print in layout.

Have found nothing useful in three days of Autodesk Community / U-tube / Lynda.com

A brief rundown of :

how to resurrect the ribbon

how to set up a layout for a specific drawing size in metric which is not available in the provided templates

how to persuade the program to print and to print to adobe in .pd format

will be most welcome

There are no Ribbons or Tabs in the MAC version: it has an Apple style MAC-like interface that is totally different from Microsoft's designed Ribbons.

You cannot have the Widnos interface on a MAC (and vice-versa).

PDF printing is built into the MAC Operating System, you do not need any special driver and Autodesk doesn't provide one either.

And as noted above, there is a special MAC only forum.
