Fillet not connecting

was trying to sketch something and and using the fillet was the fastest way but its not connecting the line, i can get the same results with the tangent circle but why doesn't this work?

I am on drafting so no Z axis and i can use it on different lines outside the sketch and it work fine, so where did i got it wrong?
