File doesn't open when launching AC LT

Recently swapped over to 2020 LT and have an issue.

When I double click a .dwg file to launch the application, the application opens fine but it doesn't open the file that I clicked on. Any ideas?

Open LT2020, click on the Big Red A icon at the top left, find and use RECOVER to open your file: does that fix the problem?

So after the application opens, I go back into my folder and double click on the file again, it opens no problem. Every file opens without issue, it's just when i first launch the application by double clicking on a file that I have this issue. Hope that makes sense?

IN Windows File Explorer, right-click on a DWG file, select OPEN WITH then choose SELECT ANOTHER APP: with the box labelled ALWAYS USE THIS APP... checked, select DWG LAUNCHER.

This should help moving forward unless you have another DWG program on your PC that steals that file format back.

I tried that initially along with the file associations settings within windows but the problem still persists. Might try reinstalling and see if that cures it as I'm all out of ideas 🙄

If the reinstall does not work, and only as a test, log into your PC as an all new user and see if the problem persists.
