FATAL Error message in AutoCAD 2002 LT

Hi everyone, my first post here. I'm having problems with my AutoCAD 2002 LT at work. Sometime when I try to plot a drawing I get a FATAL ERROR warning. This happened the other day and CAD closed. When I tried to reopen it, it wouldn't reopen. I can't recover the recover file either that resulted from the error. Luckily, I had a file that was about a week old and opened it and made the minor changes to bring it up to date. Anyways, I went and tried to open that file today and it won't open!! I get a FATAL ERROR when it tries to open. The error is

Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0004 Exception at 6546a219h.

I get errors like this at least a couple times a week in addition to low memory errors when I have almost 2 GB's of RAM and a large virtual memory setup.
Does anyone know what could be going on?
Thanks

RECOVER instead of OPEN command, see if that fixes your file.

Low memory means Windows is using it all up for something else, another
application, and you probably have your anti-virus scanning LT when it
should not.

I also have a problem plotting from certain files. The message is Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 3605b226h. This occurs only with files I've received from my architect who uses full-blown 2006. While I have always been able to recover the files, there's nothing that I've tried that permits me to plot from them: purge, save as something else, downloading fixes from this site.

Anyone else having issues or know of a fix? Thanks.

You have a corrupt file you can't open? Post it.

I can't attach the file; it's telling me the file is too large. It's 3.75 MB.
