Express Tool excluded from LT version

This is really disappointing to see Autodesk is not including Express Tools in AutoCAD LT version. 

I purchased AutoCAD LT version as AutoCAD authorized resellers told me that the only difference between AutoCAD LT and Autocad is that AutoCAD LT is 2D and Autocad full version is 2D+3D. No other major difference. As i do not make drawings in 3D, I purchased AutoCAD LT version. After buying AutoCAD LT I cannot find Express tools in it and now same reseller is asking me to buy AutoCAD full version to get just express tool. This is such a bull**** from Autodesk. Express Tools are extensively used in 2D drawings also and now its excluded from LT version. Much better to use other software like SolidWorks or others that are much easy to use than AutoCAD also.

sorry to say, but you are wrong here, your words should go to the AutoCAD authorized reseller only!

You can't use any Programextension in LT, that and limited 3D possibilities are the two big differences, but there are some more.

Both are interesting for "only 2D no-programmer User" too,

for example Expresstools (free but unsupported program extension like all other lisp, .net and so on Tools/Application)

and you always working in a 3D world, also in LT.

You get a DWG with content different to World XY plane and you like

to use 3drotate or 3d objects and you want to change the view by viewcube.. nope

And 3D ->2D is one of the most asked thing in LT (in terms of the differences.
AutoCAD can't do it better, but you can load the right tools into AutoCAD)

Sorry for you, next time, ask your (other?) reseller and read thru the forums here,

we are users like you and we see some things with other eyes than a reseller.

Which of the express tools are you interested in? Although not included in LT on occasion people have come up with methods to try and create similar workflows using a macro, or another workaround to at least offer similar results, Some but unfortunately not all 😊

@Anonymous Looks like you or your reseller did not quite discuss/explain the exact details, and on top of that you neglected to take LT for a test drive locally with your own files with the free 30-day trial version (fully functional, it just dies after 30-days).

Quite questionable for someone in business IMHO, you "assumed" instead of verifying the accuracy by trialing the package yourself.

Reach back out to your reseller for options or a refund: then you can move on to the other software you noted for the experience you seek.

I look for this Express tools in Autocad. So please do help me if you know there are any way I can add this only to my current version of Autocad LT 2022.

Here's one example it requires the use of Diesel Macros and is not as versatile as the Express Tool version but it works, a similar one here.
