DWG tp PDF

I am using LT 2013 and can't print DWG to PDF neither batch plot nor plot. After I select all options the small window with the green bars shows up, the green bars start to run but stop short and the PDF never produced. When doing plot I get a Model.plt file and when doing batch plot I get nothing.

Show us screenshots of what you see.

It would be helpful if you could provide the following;

  • Screengrabs of the issue you are seeing
  • Screencast video
  • Sample drawing file

This will help when trying to offer up suggestions to troubleshoot your thread.

Thanks!

Post screenshots of the pdf pc3 file being used, use STYLESMANAGER command, I want to see the content of all three tabs PLUS the custom properties pop-up. $-total.

Thank you

Your screenshots show a normal PDF driver: is this a sudden new problem? LT2013 is not new by any stretch, what else may be new on your PC?

I watched the video and looked at your screengrabs.

I just have a few quick questions;

Have others in your office had an issue similar to yours?

If you log in as a different user on your system does the issue appear there as well?

It is not a new problem. It started more than a year ago (I believe) when I had to reinstall the LT on my laptop. Never had this problem before.

We have just another version on a Desktop.No problems over there.

Do you mean just login to get into my laptop? If so I don;t think that the AutoCAD will be available should I'll log with a different user.

AutoCAD is installed on your PC, not a server, not a cloudserver: anyone logging into it can use it. Anyone.

I suggested trying AutoCAD LT as a different user so you didn't have to reset your AutoCAD to defaults. It gives you an option to see if the issue happens on your OS or if it's your customization in AutoCAD LT or your user account.

Were you able to test it out?

OK, so I logged in with different user and everything went well and the batch plot did work. Does that mean that I should go back to original settings?

If everything worked fine in a default settings environment. I would recommend resetting back to defaults.

If you need help you can refer to this: How to reset AutoCAD to defaults

So, I did reset to default and even got my settings back and seems to work fine.

Just one last question. How do I keep the menu bars open even when I close the drawing?

I currently get them open when I open a new drawing but they get closed when I close the drawing.

Thank you very much for your patience.

There has to be a file open for you to see the Ribbon and any toolbars.
