Duplicate Attributes within a Block

Is it possible to have duplicate linked attributes within the same block so that when I use ATTEDIT there is only one instance of that attribute?

For example I have block that shows the quantity of an item in large text next to the title. I also have the quantity written smaller in the material list. Can these be the same attribute? I want one to change when I change the other.

...Also, can you modify the default 8 lines of attributes listed in ATTEDIT per page? Its confusing for some if I have maybe 10 attributes, that the last 6 from page 1 are also shown at the top of page 2?

No, they don't work like that as standard attributes. If you have a later LT
version, consider moving to Fields if it fits within the parameters of that
command's options.

You can change the length of the attributes, but you will have the same
problem if you have 12 or 14 attributes and so on. Find your acadlt.dcl file
under your Windows Profile, open it with Windows Notepad, edit the correct
category.

Found the file just can't seem to find what to change. Hunt, peck, try is not working.

The HTH tip led me down the path to look and I did find some information published in 1999 in regards to VBA and list boxes and creating dialogs.
The closest I got was to find out that the Height controls the height of the list box. Startling revelation. If I understood the next concept it is that the dialog calls a list_box definition to set this. There is a list_box definition in the base.dcl file but I think this file is nothing more than a list of standards to incorporate into prgramming in the acadlt.dcl file.
As such I am still unable to find the list_box definition that the Edit Attribute portion of the acadlt.dcl wants to call.
I know nothing af VBA programming.

It may have died with newer LT versions, in which case the OP is out of
luck, with a need to upgrade to full AutoCAD for more customizations needs.
