Downloading from 360 viewer

I'm trying to convert a DWG from AutoCAD 2016 (full ) version to AutoCAD 2010 LT but having no luck with the Trueviewer, have tried to use 360 but unable to download.

Is there anything i can do?

Used to have access to 2016 AutoCAD version but had lap top change recently and due to confusion over licence issue now only have 2010 LT version, we hold a number of 2016 saved DWG files which we are unable to access now.

What do you mean by "...having no luck with the Trueviewer..."?

Watch the video at the bottom of this page https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/dwg-trueview/learn-explore/caas/simplecontent/content/using-a...

Thanks Dean,

What I really need to be able to do is make changes to a convereted drawing and then save to a format that can be used with AutoCad LT 2010. Not sure Trueviewer is the right thing for this?

DTV is the correct tool to knock files down to a lower DWG file format: it has a TRUECONVERT option for that task in the Ribbon.

But if you are editing the file in AutoCAD/LT anyway, you can do the same in there without having to get DTV.

Hi @Anonymous,

Dean is correct that TrueView can do this for you but as he points out, you can do this right inside of your AutoCAD LT. Use the DWGCONVERT command to drop the file to the older version.
