Hi to all people,
In my drawings for photoengraving i have hundreds closed polygons to check and
sometime, for my mistake, under the polygon have a double-line with or in the same layer.
I try to delete double-line not necessary with a command "overkill" whitouth result.
There are ways to succeed ?
Not sure to explane in correct mode i have attached a simple drawing, only move a polygon to see lines to be deleted.

At the command line type OVERKILL and select your polylines. This will get rid of the extra lines. See the link below for more help

Sorry, but seem not working.

at the bottom of image DL1.png the command execution

Command _overkill "trovato-found" 1

0 "duplicati eliminati-duplicates deleted"

0 "oggetti o segmenti sovrapposti eliminati-overlapping objects or segments deleted"

( in my Autocad 2022 LT my localization is Italian, "overkill" is "eliminaduplicati"),

in image DL2.png i have two segment line still in place.

SELECT everything, then hold down the SHIFT key and select the polyline you wish to keep, then tap the DEL button on your keyboard.
OR
Select your outline deliberately with one click, right-click then ISOLATE then HIDE (in your actual file, choose SELECTSIMILAR before you "hide".
ERASE what you want to be gone.
OR...
Use some combination of both of the above.

These tips always work 100% of the time without fail.

Otherwise... you could stop ignoring the settings portion of the OVERKILL command (you know, the pop-up that appears) and play around with it, explore combos that may or may not work until you find the combo selections that do. But most of us don't have time to waste like that.

You can tell Autodesk all about your experiences and wishes for improvements over here https://www.autodesk.com/company/contact-us/product-feedback

Good luck.

If ALL objects you want to keep are polylines and ALL ones you want to get rid of are lines, you can perform a FILTER selection of lines of said layer and/or color
