Dimensions do not move/stretch when stretched

Hello everyone! I need your help!

Yesterday everything was ok but today when I started working in my drawing I noticed that when I stretch, the dimensions do not strech with the rest of the drawing.  They stay in place and I have to manualy pick them at the right place.

I did not change anything to my settings yesterday... the only thing that has changed is that I have installed Autodesk BIM 360 Glue yesterday... coicidence or not! I don`t know.

Anyone can help?

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forums

Check whether your dimensions have lost their associativity to an object. See the image below.

If it has lost it's association at the command line type DIMREASSOCIATE. Select the dimension. Right click and select ENTER. Then either choose two points or SELECT the object which the dim was originally associated with.

Thank you for your answer, I appreciate that you took the time to answer me.

My dimensions are not associated to objects, but they are ok now... I can stretch them...

I really don't know what happened... The problem disappeared as fast as it appeared without doing anything...

Thank you for your time!

Check the system variable DIMASSOC and make sure it is set to 2

FYI

I did it again and it as nothing to do with the dimensions.

It would be the UCS....

After changing my UCS and set it up as my new plan view, the dimensions could not be stretched anymore so I remade my UCS and set up my plan view and voila the dimensions could be stretched again.

Thank you to all that took the time to help me with this issue.

Have a great day!
