Delete Layout tabs with a script

Gang I have several hundred wiring diagrams that need to be imported into another program so we can generate CGM files. The problem I am having is I have a macro written for the other program to open the DWG and then export to a CGM file. The problem is that the other program is opening the layout tab instead of the model tab. So what I would like to do is create a script file that I can run in AutoCAD LT to delete the current layout tabs. I was also hoping I could run this as a batch process I really do not want to have to open each one one of these files separately.

Any insight or help anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Look up TILEMODE or MSPACE commands in HELP and just add one of them to your script.
