cursor snapping to grid lines only when drawing in dyn mode

like the title says....i have snap and grid turned off i have made sure. it happens in every drawing i open. only when i have dyn clicked does his happen. i can draw all i want without the cursor jumping around or anything but when i want to do anything with dyn clicked it jumps to a random grid pattern. anyone have any info?

all the other times ive seen this problem addressed it doesnt have anything to do with specifically drawing wiht dyn clicked...

What do you mean by "dyn clicked"?

Do you mean DYNMODE set to a positive number?

And you are sure that SNAPMODE = 0 and SNAPGRIDLEGACY = 0

sorry, i mean the dynamic input button to the right of otrack, the one that lets you manually put in the length of a line or size of a rectangle....

LT version is....?
Windows version is....?
Is this a sudden problem that just appeared in ALL files?
Or is it limited to this one file?

Explain the background behind this problem please.

First off, GRIDMODE has nothing to do with SNAP so don't worry about that.

Please post a Screencast illustrating the problem. Set GRIDMODE=0 and DYNMODE=0, and show us the smooth cursor. Then set DYNMODE=3 and show us how the cursor is acting like SNAPMODE=1 then.
