Is the problem in ALL files, or just this one?
Rotated UCS by chance?
QPMODE set to?
OPTIONS command>Selection Tab> are all the 'preview'options on?

Is your UCS and WORLD variables set to anything other than WORLD? make that change now.

Otherwise you will need to reset LT2016, ask your new office IT/Cad Manager for help backing up your customizations if any first.

Type UCS then hit ENTER key on your keyboard twice.

Post our dwg, have it open in the exact spot, walk me through how I can replicate your issue in detail step by step, spell out each command and action.

TIA

not really something i can take pic of.

1) draw a line

2) place cursor on end point.

a) wait for cursor to "find" end point

3) move cursor to start new line, say, 2" below.

a) there is no "aligning" line or reference (rubber band) to the first line's end point

No pic asked for or wanted, post your DWG file, as in share your actual drawing file, share it with us here so we can all get into it.

Thanks.
