Are you using ctb or stb files when plotting.

If when plotting the highlighted area in the image below has .stb at the end you're using the wrong file type. If this is the case at the command line type CONVERTPSTYLES and choose YES. Now when plotting again you should see a .ctb extension.

Your DWG file is probably set to STB, not CTB: are all you seeing STB files?
You can use CONVERTPSTYLE command to flip it from STB to CTB format.

The drop down list for the plot style table shows all .ctb files.  However the acad.ctb file isn't listed.  Is it because I'm using AutoCAD LT?

No, then the acad.ctb is missing in your plotstyle folder(s).

But acad.ctb is useless, it's the same like plotting without plotstyles or you create a new ctb from the scratch and saveas acad.ctb

Hi @Anonymous,

Here is a copy of my CTB file.  It should be placed under your profile folder in a location similar to this one:

C:\Users\,USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019\R23.0\enu\Plotters\Plot Styles

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
