Create Solid 3D Objects - How?

Hi

I'm working in AutoCAD LT 2018.  I want to make solid 3D objects.  I have used thickness to create 'wireframe' objects but can't work out how to fill them in to look like solid objects.  Is this possible in LT?

LT cannot create 'solids' it can produce images with hidden line removal when you have used thickness for objects and view from an orthographic angle. Take a look at the hide and shademode commands.

As well as thickness of objects (line, polyline, circle) you can also use 2D solids and regions, using thicknes on a polyline will just create the sides having the ability to hide more distant objects but the top and bottom will be open so you will need to "fill" those using region or 2D solids.

Your cheaper LT version of AutoCAD has no such ability: you need to subscribe to the way more expensive AUTOCAD for that ability. You are using the wrong software for your tutorial.
