Crash when changing DWF path in SSM

Greetings,

our office is encountering a crash on AutoCAD LT 2025, Windows 11.

When we right click SSM and select publish options for DWF, the DWF options window appears correctly. We can interact with the options but when we click OK or Cancel in this window, AutoCAD freezes and has to be forcefully shut down. The same thing happens when we try publishing sheets from sheet sets in the Publish window. The only way that works for us is exporting DWF via Batch plot.

The solution here has nothing to do with this:
AutoCAD freezes when accessing the options of the DWF export

The window is normally visible and even with 1 monitor, the issue occurs.

Strange thing is that only I had this bug at first and I had to ask my collegues at the start of new project to set the DWF output path for the sheet set. Then another collegue started encountering the exact same crash. Then the next.

We have been using DWF export via sheet set for quite some time now without issues and the process has been great so far. We are not able to change DWF path for neither existing nor new sheet sets. Is there any way to fix this? Re-installing AutoCAD is not preferrable, mainly because the bug might re-appear again.

@rene_janous Please clarify the actual problem please

1) Your PUBLISH command pop-up is just off-screen (you linked to literally that) when used in SSM but not when you use the PUBLISH command?

OR

2) your LT2025 PUBLISH pop-up if you opt to use SSM to publish, and then only to DWF

OR

3) your LT2025 crashes for no reason when you opt to use SSM to publish, and then only to DWF.

You seem to be self-crashing the program, nothing more "...and has to be forcefully shut down..." since a pop-up in the program requires a user to interact to it, it may appear as though the program is locked up, but most of the time tapping the ESC button on the keyboard will just shut down the hidden pop-up.

Did you try to just slide the pop-up back into view like this

Did you ask your IT person for help? It would appear your Windows11 forgets you unplugged the other monitor sometimes.

Have you installed the 2025.1.2 Update yet? ABOUT command in your AutoCAD will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates

Restart your PC afterwards please.

Thank you for the comprehensive answer.

AutoCAD version is 2025.1.2.

We tried the solution using keyboard to move the window, but we cannot interact with autocad window whatsovever, it is crashed.
I made a sketch to better illustrate our problem.

Curiously, our IT opened my AutoCAD in english and the issue does not occur there.

Does that mean you only crash when you are in (looks like) the Czeck language module?

Did they also use a different Windows log-in, not yours, and it all worked fine? This may be a clue.

My guess, from your latest post and image, you either have a corrupt OS Profile (your IT can fix that) or a corrupt language pack. You and your IT may want to open a support case with Autodesk through your Accounts Page to resolve the latter.

Yes, for 3 of us who experience this crash, we crash when working in Czech language pack, but we do not get the crash for English.

We did not try changing the Windows log-in.

Thank you for your responses. We'll open a support case and in the meantime I'll switch to English version when changing DWF path for sheet sets.
