copy clip not working

I cannot get copy clip to work. It works sporadically but then after a while it quits. I tried turning my computer off and on and it's not helping. Any ideas?

Is the problem limited to some files? All files? Even in new files?
Did this just start recently?
What is your LT version? What is your Windows version? Has there been a system change?

Does this happen with all files? Even a brand new file? 

If so are you able to test AutoCAD in a Diagnostic or Selective startup

 

This will allow AutoCAD to run with just your Windows environment and selected programs. Let me know if you are able to test AutoCAD in this environment. 

 

 

Does this happen if you are in a reset to default settings

What are your OS specs? WIN ? Graphics card?

Following up on this thread, I haven't heard back if you were able to try the suggested steps.

To add to this thread; 

 

If you are unable to perform the Copy and Clip command try the following troubleshooting steps;

Unfortunately, it was sporadic and frustrating the crap out of me. I decided to upgrade to LT 2017 and so far it has not happened.
