Construction Lines

I have just changed from Mechanical 2015 to LT 2018.

with Mechanical construction lines always appear Red and on their own layer.

this does not happen with LT by default.

does anyone know a way to set LT so construction lines appear in Red on AM_CL layer

That's why LT is a little cheaper than Mechanical, you have to make those settings manually, if you want some degree of automation then look at using toolpalettes, if you draw a line and set all the properties that you want such as layer and linetype then select the line and copy it and paste it into a toolpalette tab it will keep those properties, that way you can use different settings and by starting the line command from that toolpalette icon it will always retain those settings
