Certified Professional Design and Drafting with LT

Hi - I am in the beginning stages of studying for the Design and Drafting certification. I only have AutoCAD LT. Will I be able to complete training/take the exam with LT? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. From what I can see the training doesn't cover any 3D capabilities.

Thanks - Anna

Hello @anna8TC5V
Did you take a moment to review the exam testing topics to see if you can find all of that in LT yet? Take the time to do so, it's a good teaching moment for what you are going to have to understand: think of it as part of your test without actually spending any money just yet https://damassets.autodesk.net/content/dam/autodesk/www/training-and-certification/docs/acp-autocad-...

Yes, I did review that document as it was one of the first modules in the prep course. As far as I can tell all the exam objective topics/software uses listed are available in LT, however I just wanted to confirm since LT is not mentioned anywhere in the document. I know there are many minute differences (for example in LT you cannot edit the CV frame from hide to show in quick properties for a spline), so I want to make sure the exam is compatible with LT and it will not affect my ability to sucessfully complete it.

I would be more concerned about the major differences. Find the list for more information.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.
