Can't complete plotting to a PDF file

I just loaded AutoCAD LT 2006 on my desktop (had it on my laptop for years).  When I try to plot to a PDF file, it takes me through all the steps correctly (see screen shots).  When I hit the "save" button, the green progress bar starts and then dissappears.  No error or anything.  But the PDF file is never actually created.  The plot log shows it was plotted.  There's even a PDF shortcut created on my computer, but no file associated with it.  I've never had this problem before, so thinking it's a simple setting that I'm missing with the settings or plot manager?  I have Adobe Professional installed as well.  Any help would be greatly appreciate!! Instead using "Adobe PDF" as name of printer/plotter use "DWG to PDF" printer. Commonly, it is the basic printing DWG to PDF file. Please see attach file for your reference. Hope this will help.

I don't have that choice for a plotter.  I tried the add printer wizard but that driver doesn't exist.

First, let me know what version of AutoCAD you are using because it is included when you install the AutoCAD

I'm not sure it that version have that feature maybe I suggest if you use that latest version.

It worked on 2004 LT and on my other computer with 2006 LT running.  I'm just missing something in this case

Another suggestion, try creating a PC3 and add your own DWG to PDF plotter.
