BLOCKREPLACE

Hi,

I'm new to posting(prefer to lurk) on the forum and AutoCAD lt 2020.

I have search up and down for a simple solution, meaning me not having to write a file, to get the feature BLOCKREPLACE. I've used it on previous releases, I think it was also a lt version. Can someone please help. TY

LT = No API = No Lisp = no Blockreplace

LT Users need to handle with rename and copy blocks and blockreferences (to and from another file)

Why the tears it is just a bit more work, as @cadffm says in LT you need to use a probable combination of 'rename' possibly copying blocks into a second temporary drawing and then of course you can always insert a new block making sure it has the same name as your existing blocks and use the 'do you want to redefine the block' option. So it is doable just takes a bit more thought and preparation than blindly pressing a button. Let us know what you are trying to achieve and we can see how much work it might be.
