Bath plotting from AutoCAD LT creates large file size pdf's

I'm looking for a little help with an issue.  I have autocad LT2014 and when I batch plot to pdf, my files are really big.  For instance, I just created a pdf for a project and the file size was 21 MB.  Another guy in our office took the same dwg file and ran a batch plot and his pdf file size was 596 KB.  As far as we can tell, all of our settings are the same.  I'm sure I'm missing something but I can't figure out what it is.  Has anyone else ran into this?  I also ran a batch plot from Truview 2020 and the pdf file size was almost the same as if I created it from acadLT.

Are you both using DWG to PDF or a third party PDF plotter? and if so are they all updated?

Welcome to the AutoCAD forums! 

The driver you are using can make a difference in the resulting size but that seems like a pretty significant difference in size. This is more likely related to how content in the drawing is being processed. 

I did find a few other forum posts for the older versions of AutoCAD for a similar issue. One suggestion that worked for another member recommended checking the PDF options and check (turn on) Include Hyperlinks.

Are you and "the other guy" using the exact same LT versions as listed in ABOUT command?
And you both using the same exact PDF driver with the same exact PDF driver settings?

Find out.

No, he is using a newer version than I am.  However, I did try creating the pdfs from Truview 2020 and the file was roughly the same size as when I use acadLT.  I am working remotely and can not look at his settings but when he tells me what his are, they match what mine are.

Sadly, one of you is using a different PDF driver, PDF driver settings, or PUBLISH or PAGESETUP settings, not much else to it really: you doing it in two different programs on the same machine at home kind of confirms it.

Post screenshots of your PUBLISH command pop-up ready to create your large-sized PDFs, lets see what you are doing. Ask the other guy to do the same, lets compare.
