Batch Plot getting slower

I was wondering why batch plotting gets so slow? When I do a single sheet plot it is done in like 3 seconds and if I batch plot 10 sheets is 5 minutes but if I do 20 it is more like 15 minutes and if I do 70 it takes over an hour. the more I add the longer it does per sheet. But doing it 1 for 1 is not efficient. any way to speed this up? or will this ever be optimized?

Hi,

3seconds? So you plotin foreground.

And your "publish" is  also set to foreground, or is it set to "background" as default?

Yupo that was it! publishing in the background instead of foreground. I tested it and a 20 sheet batch plot just went from 6min 30sec to 45 sec. Thanks a lot!
