Why does my AutoCad Lt txt Window fails to come up when I list a line on a drawing.
Where is your commandline and how many lines is it set to show in your AutoCAD/LT session?
LIST command displays there, it should bump up a few extra lines: it has done for quite a few versions now. IMHO it's best if your commandline is 3+lines tall all the time too.
CTRL+F2 if you need to see the full TEXTSCR command pop-up window, if you need that.
Have you considered using and keeping open PROPERTIES command instead of using LIST?
If you keep PICKFIRST and PICKADD variables set to the defaults listed in HELP, and you have the RIBBON on, you'll get even more information without much effort like activating LIST command too. It takes a little practice.
How old an AutoCAD/LT version did you just come from if I may ask?
And what year version are you using now?
