AutoCAD Start-up Page Malfunction - is there an update?

Hi there, 

 

I'm looking for help - my AutoCAD LT 2016's screen layout has malfunctioned - it seems like I need an update - but can't find one, unless it is cut off by the screen? When I change the side of the windows, it gets worse. I can't click on anything on that welcome screen when it is like this either, but when I open a drawing, it seems OK and the screen is correct. It is more with the welcome page as I have gotten really used to this handy tool since release!

Has any one any idea how to fix this?

AutoCAD/LT 2016 and lower were not designed for high-res monitors. It only runs on displays set to 1920x1080 (also try 2560x1440 and up to 2560x1600 if you have that option) and at 100% text scaling (no more than 125% text scaling). It will not look good on 4k displays settings on modern PCs and laptops 😞

Hi @Anonymous, 

 

I recommend trying the suggestions made in the previous post and mentioned here. High resolution screens are not supported with all of Autodesk products and releases. 

 

Do you have access to AutoCAD 2017 by any chance?

Hi Pendean,  You solved it! I had changed the screen size to 125% to save my eyes in poor lighting, and never put 2 + 2 together! I have reset it back to 100% and the start-up page is perfect again! Pity this doesn't enlarge with the screen also.. Many Thanks for your expertise in this matter.
