Autocad prints stucks in queue

Hi,

I'm using Autocad LT 2014 on win10.

I just got a new A3 printer (Brother MFC-J6520DW) the printer works good in all applications (word etc.)

The Autocad find the printer and even apparently send the page to print.

But all Autocad prints stuck in the Printer queue and never goes out 😞

To be clear all other application (word,Audobe reader etc.) does not have that issue.

Please help, i need it urgently....

Thanks

Your version of AutoCAD/LT2014 is not supported in Win10 as explained here http://autode.sk/1IY4C2X
What that means is the following: if it used to work and now does not, or if you are trying to install it but you cannot get it to install, or any other related issue that involves your older AutoCAD/LT version and Windows10, Autodesk will in no way shape or form ever get involved in finding out why and will never plan on issuing any fixes.
For most users these free tips help a lot http://www.howtogeek.com/228689/how-to-make-old-programs-work-on-windows-10/
For others they roll back to an older Windows OS and hang on tight to it for life.
For others still they purchase a fix from these folks http://www.longbowsoftware.com
As far as Autodesk is concerned, you will need to subscribe to a newer version of LT.

FWIW "print queue" is a Windows function: something is holding the print jobs there, dig a lot deeper in WIndows and at the print-queue to decipher what may be going on.

Thank for your reply.

I know the Win10 issue, but I work win Version 10.0.15063 Build 15063, and apparently LT2014 works fine with.

It works perfectly with all other printers I have but it does not work with the new printer (stuck in status:printing), while all other applications works perfectly.

I think maybe I'm missing something in the instalation of that printer in the autocad. do you have any idea?

Thanks

Delete the driver from your PC, and get a new installation from either the manufacturer or from Windows itself: sometimes hat's enough to fix these types or problems.

Enjoy your gamble: hope it doesn't come to bite anytime soon.
