Autocad not displaying correctly on high resolution screen on Dell XPS laptop

I recently purchased a new Dell XPS 15 laptop which has a high resolution screen.

When I installed Autocad 2017 LT I noticed that Autocad displays incorrectly, with very small text and some parts cropped out of view/ missing.

Is there a fix for this? This is a work machine for my architecture practice and I need to get this working asap.

Please advise on how I can use Autocad without these graphic problems, thanks.

If you use AutoCAD/LT2017 then Go grab the 2017.1 update (see the "point one" in the name) from your subscription updates page https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates

If you can, apply the new update and post back with any new information regarding your AutoCAD not displaying.

Thanks.

Correct, the 2017.1 update is only for paid subscriptions, not trials.

Which means for you... you need to change the display settings in WIndows to 1920x1800 and 100% font scaling only. You do this in Windows Control Panel's Display settings.

Just purchased a brand new XPS as well and ran into the same issue.  I'm not using 2017 so the update isn't available to me.  Has anyone found any other work arounds for this issue?  If ound this link but wasn't sure if any of these fixes worked with older versions of CAD

AutoCAD/LT 2016 and lower were not designed for high-res monitors AND AUTODESK HAS NO PLANS TO EVER CHANGE THAT REALITY. These older versions will only run on displays set to 1920x1080 (also try 2560x1440 and up to 2560x1600 if you have that option) and at 100% text scaling (no more than 125% text scaling).
