AutoCAD LT - Unable to edit text size/font from previously editable file.

Hello all, 

I am opening and trying to edit text on a file that I was previously able to edit without issue. 

I can change the "words" but not the font or the font size. 

If I create a new text box all acts normal. Any ideas?

Your "INDEX SHEET" text is only single line text and cannot be edited like MULTILINE TEXT. Any changes you make to the single line can only be done by changing the style used, although you can change some of the items via the PROPERTIES (CTRL+1) menu. See the image below.

Wow thanks for the help, so many oddities (at least odd to me) that I am learning about this new software. I appreciate your quick response!
