I just noticed this the last few days. When I open autocad or even if it has been open and I go to the start screen, the list of drawings shown is not listed in LAST SAVED order. It is listed in LAST OPENED order. I know this wasn't the case before, but I don't know how this could have changed.
Does anyone know how I can change it back? I know its probably super simple and I'm overthinking this.
Thanks!

You are correct. Please take a look and let me know if anyone else has this issue or knows where to change this setting. Thanks!
The only settings available are the ones below

No I understand exactly.
You want your files to appear in last saved DATE ORDER (most recently saved at top), unfortunately that doesn't look like a setting in AutoCAD
EDIT: Looks like "BY ORDERED LIST" is supposed to be date last saved.

It has nothing to do with productivity as it does with making things easier I guess. They developed this start tab and granted not every new idea is a good idea, but I got used to using it.
I can definitely set the variable to 0 so there is no start tab, but that's a workaround. If I can get it back to the way it was before this happened, why not determine the cause and then change/fix it? That's all I am saying.
I am not a fan of the workaround when the "fix" exists.
