Good afternoon,

According to the picture attached, the options desappeared. How can I fix it?

Hi,

  • At the Command prompt, enter MENUBAR. Enter  1  to display the menu bar.
  • Or .. At the top-left of the application window, on the right end of the Quick Access toolbar, click the drop-down menu >> Show Menu Bar.

@diegosales7HP9H

Your menu bar is on, three words right there in your screenshot, FILE WINDOW HELP.

MENUBAR is the command name, is it on?

OR do you mean your Ribbon? RIBBON command may do it.

Did you restart your computer yet? Fixes it for most users.

Hello. I want all those options appear on the screen again, like Insert, Annotate, etc.

In your Profile are the wrong settings (wrong path to the Main cuix file),

or the file was deleted on your hd.

Start Command OPTIONS

Tab FILES

node Customazation Files -> Main... -> c:\users\<userid>\Roaming\Autodesk\Autocad LT 2022\<Rnn>\<lan>

\support\acadlt

?

If not: Which path is there?

or is it blank? If so, try to add the path

Select the "empty" field and press the button [Browse] on the right,

then try to follow my path (for <userid> <Rnn> <lan> you have to use your folders, because your name is another than my and lan(guage) is DEUtsch, yours not 😉 (or?)

Well, I recovered following your steps, but the format is different. Do I have to load the Enterprise Customization file ?

RESET AutoCADLT, it looks like you might have more messed up items that initially thought, here is how

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-r...

Or reinstall LT https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/learn-explore/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-r...

Also ensure that you have installed the 2022.1.2 Update: ABOUT command will confirm what you have installed. If not, get it from your Autodesk Account Page here https://manage.autodesk.com/cep/#products-services/updates
Restart your PC afterwards.

Use command WSCURRENT and accept the default value..

But in your case, I think there is much more brocken and pendeans answer is the best in this situation: RESET AutoCADLT

Just get used to working without the ribbon. it never stays up there and is constantly rearranging itself to the point of being more frustrating than useful. If anybody could ever figure a way to seriously lock the  damm thing in place, that would be greatly appreciated.

Id caution against not using the Ribbon. I know There are a lot of users that don't like it, but i don't see it going away anytime soon and the contextual ribbons can be extremely helpful. Also if you are looking for or find yourself needing assistance, the tutorials and people assisting you likely be using the modern interfaces.

We have a few users that do not use the ribbon and one some of the vertical, they literally cannot do some tasks without it.

When it comes to things moving you can search out the command by clicking in the A and searching.

All that said, i get it. One of the beauties of this program is the ability to customize as much as it allows. And i have seen some extremely efficient users using the toolbar style interface.

Well, that's a very unusual problem for sure: what version as listed in ABOUT command are you using, and what is your OS?

And what else did you try to fix it instead of just turning it off?

Or is this perhaps what the problem is that you call "changing itelf" https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to...

Or this https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Displa...

Or....?

Actually it's not that unusual at all. Constant battle- definitely doing it's own thing and I didn't turn it off- it vanishes and reappears whenever it wants! It hasn't pestered me for awhile, so maybe I finally destroyed the beast!

The issue with the ribbon as a long time user (Ver 2.6 circa 1987) is as follows: AutoDesk  got so cutesy with the interface that it now that it freaks out and disappears / turns sideways / and is just a general nuisance.

Same with the "Insert" command. WTF happened to that thing- holy smokes I quit using that as well when ACAD went through the cutesy phase. The cutesy phase creates real headaches for 1 man shows or smaller Offices. Most don't have an IT dept and definitely don't have TIME to monkey with stuff that has worked for years before they screwed with it.

Stuff needs to work reliably straight out of the box, without spending hours playing with it- You know, how it used to "pre-cutesy" days!

Im at: Product Version T.53.0.0 AAD Lt 2023. I just downloaded 2 nights ago, so it should be the latest.

Thanks again for the heads up on that!

Dave
