AutoCAD LT 2023 - Issues with Data Link Table Text Formatting

Having issues when linking excel table to CAD (2023 LT).

My process is as follows:

1) setup spreadsheet schedule in excel - "RomanS" font, size 11, black color

2) create data link in CAD with the preset table format (data text height = 125mm, font style = Romans.shx, and color = yellow)

3) insert table; from what I have seen online before there used to option to ignore excel formatting, I don't see this option in my version of LT. Once table is inserted the font is to small (1.7639 height). I found a way to get around this by manually adjusting font height, cell width, etc.

4) this is not even the main issue, once plotted to PDF the font size is too thin compared to other text. I even tried to change the color of font in excel file itself to yellow (RGB 255, 255, 0) hoping it would take on plotting properties of CTB but it is plotting in yellow.

I hope someone can chime in how to address the above issue in item 3 (text too small once imported) and 4 (font formatting).

Thanks for the reply. Please see attached, within the CAD file, table on the left is the one inserted using data link and one on right is manually created (what i need the data link to look like)

And for your faint font issue, why if I may ask are you using an AutoCAD faint thin odd-looking ROMANS font in Excel? That one is self-inflicted my friend

my bad, i did 'exportlayout' due to large size of drawing and things may have scaled. I reattached what I am trying to imitate with the datalink.

@dmitri777 Forgive me, I also forgot to ask in my last post: what is the significance of the 125 text height (and 150 table cell height) in your INCH unit DWG file?

looks like all got reset when I did exportlayout. The original drawing is metric unit (mm).

Text height of 125mm is used for 1:50 VP scale and cell height should have been 450mm.table.png
