AutoCAD LT 2023 bugs - missing features.

I just upgraded to AutoCAD 2023 LT, and so far I've found two features that I use on my normal workflow that seem to be missing.

1. Layer drop down list (ribbon) does not change to the layer of a selected object. This is a tool that I use constantly to move objects from one layer to a different layer. On the current version the drop down list shows the current layer, and does not change when an object is selected.

2. Double click on viewport to maximize. You can select the viewport and run the VPMAX command, nut double clicking on the frame of the VP does not work anymore.

Anyone else having the same issues? Are this intentional changed made by autodesk, or just bugs introduced by changes made?

What is your PICKFIRST variable set to? It should be 1

.... and check your PICKADD variable setting too: set it to the default listed in HELP.
