AutoCAD LT 2019 drawingboard compatability

Hello Everyone,

The company I work for is going to decide to make a switch from AutoCAD 2014 to AutoCAD LT 2019. One of my colleagues works with a Calcomp Drawingboard III. 

He told me it doesn't work right away with AutoCAD LT 2019. So my question is if there is a list or anything that can inform me about the compatability of drawingboards in AutoCAD LT 2019.

Calcomp DrawingBoard limitation is simple, finding a current working Windows Driver that recognizes the board. It has nothing to do with which version or variant of AutoCAD you use.

Do yourself a favor ahead of the big switch/change at your company, download and install the free 30-day trial of LT2019 and test it out for yourselves.

Note that the LT version of AutoCAD has no ability to run LISP or ARX commands or functions: perhaps that is what your colleague is more concerned about. That is the nature of LT and its discounted price over full AutoCAD.

The drawingboard works like a charm in AutoCAD 2014. It might be about the LISP or ARX commands yes. He's using AutoCAD 2014 and I recently installed the AutoCAD LT 2019 trail so we're testing with a few colleagues at the moment.
