Purchased 2017 today. I battled for hours trying to get it installed; installation would always fail (unhandled exception). Machine is a Dell Precision, Win7 Pro x64, antivirus disabled. Prior to 2017 this machine was happily using 2015. Found a forum post from a few years ago with a similar problem that suggested uninstalling the video driver was a solution. So I did that and installation worked perfectly. So I'm left to believe that was the issue. However, I am now unable to reinstall the video driver!!! I've tried several different device drivers from both Dell and nVidia and they all fail. I've tried manual and automatic installations and it always comes up with an installation failure. So now I'm left with a the basic windows VGA driver. I have to believe the problem involves some incompatibility, however am not sure how to proceed from here.
