After starting another layout, I go back to ayout with 3 viewports and all objects in one or more viewports disappears. I get it back with maximizing viewport and other strokes, and then go to the next viewport and the first one disappears again, then go to the third one and the first of second disappears. I get all good, go to another new layout, do some work, and go back and check and one or more viewports is empty of objects...again! . Ughhh! Any Ideas
I forgot to add, I have the subscription for Autocad LT 2016

Hi @jimoly,
This sounds like a real pain.
Is this happening in all drawings? Have you tried to lock the viewports? (MVIEW>Lock>on then select viewport.
Are you moving the model in the viewport to see it or are you panning and zooming?
Please attach a sample file and I will see if I can duplicate the problem.

Attached is the file. The layout name "DWG 2-2 monuments circle..." is now showing some blank viewports. They blanked out as soon as I applied a scale to the next layout "Layout 2. I can recover them as I maximize viewport and then minimize viewport.......but then one of the other 3 goes blank.
I sure appreciate any help. This just started today; this is only dwg worked on today.

Hi @jimoly,
Your drawing has a bunch of errors in it. I ran Audit and then Purge to help clean it out. Now when I use the viewports they all appear to be working ok. I have attached the "clean" drawing for you to compare.

Really crazy! I took your file and deleted viewport in "layout 2" and inserted new viewport. Drew line and set scale to 1/8"/ft and everything ok on DWG 2-2 (which is further than I could go before). Went back to "layout 2" and changed scale of the line to 3/16/ft and two viewports on DWG 2-2 went blank. Attached is the file.
BTW, never new about AUDIT and PURGE, so thanks for the tip.

Hi @jimoly,
I opened your file and the first thing I did was to run Audit again and it found another error. I then went through your steps but could not duplicate the problem.
I suggest that you might have a corrupt layout.
I would copy the model to a new dwg, and the copy layout contents one sheet at a time to the new file as well. I think this will fix the problem for you.
Here is some more information on AUDIT, PURGE, and -PURGE

Fun fact, I also had this problem. I tend to hate assigning layers so i draw a large portion of my drawing in layer 0, then i go back and hide all the layers and assign each piece of geometry to its given layer untill it looks like i have drawn nothing. I know.......its wierd......but apparently if you draw too much geometry in one layer, the viewports dont know what to do and they stop displaying their contents. I figure if the previous answer didnt help, this might.

Yeah, that's not a thing: you probably have a refresh issues that could possible be resolved with a REGENALL command.
some times we can make only one or two view ports see how to sole this this 👉 https://youtu.be/1G0013X-T0g
I just ran into a similar problem. I had to go into each viewport while in paper space and regen. Each one reappears.
Is there an easier way, or a single command, to get them all to regenerate?
