Having this issue on just one machine. It also has AutoCAD 2016 installed which runs fine. I've tried all the posted solutions and several reinstalls but not getting anywhere.

Yes, that was the first article. It doesn't look like it is actually related to network connectivity. AutoCAD 2016 and Revit LT are also on the PC and both work fine. Is there a way to just blow away the license file for AutoCAD 2016 and get it to reinitialize?

It also works fine on the other 20 PC's its been installed on on the same network with the same PC image.

Would you be able to post what you tried so that I don't ask you to do the same thing?

Has any updates happened to this system recently?

Have you applied all service packs?

Have you tested AutoCAD in a new user account on your system? Does the issue still happen there?

Have you tried the suggestions made here?

If AutoCAD 2016 is available to the user, do they really need LT2016? Just asking.

No updates have been applied. It doesn't seem to be able to download the service packs, but neither do the other installs and they work. It happens under all accounts.

The suggested link was the first thing I went through. I'm trying to zero in on what I could do to this specific install to completely reset the license and reinstall, it seems to carry over with reinstalls. This is the only one that does this out of about twenty installs.

Thanks for your help on this, its just very frustrating to have a single user get dogged by this.

I completely agree with you on this, but as the quote goes, "ours is not to reason why..."

One major thing to try: reimage the PC to perfectly match all the other trouble-free PC setups, install software, reauthorize.

I understand the frustration, I had a similar issue that I worked on last year. The last effort was a re-image of the system as Dean had suggested which ended up working out.

If you do attempt this if you have the time and are able to share what worked that would be helpful for other users.

Thanks.
