There was a single empty Mtext and four rouge hatches with an area of 3.5 million Sq Feet making your part of the drawing vanish to nothing more than a dot on the edge of the screen, I can't tell you why or how it happened, but attached is your drawing with those removed.

Hi @mary.mimnaugh

Took your file ran through the following steps...

  • -Purge, reg apps
  • -Purge, all
  • Purge
  • Audit
  • Got rid of some of those hatches that seemed to affect the drawings and got rid of 3 objects that seemed to hold up the file.

My copy is attached to this post. Post back if you have any other questions.

Thank you.  I followed the directions on how to purge.  I only would type in purge and say purge all. Yours I followed and seems to be different .  Can you explain the difference between purge and -purge (the way you explained it).  I also attached a template drawing and I did the method you stated.  Can you check to see if this was done correctly.  Thank you.  Also viewports in 2018 is done a little different than how I used to do it.  Drawing a line in my title block under the def layer.  Now a dialog box opens and you click on the number of boxs drawn - do you know if anything else has change in the viewport part.  Thanks for all your help

That is for modelspace viewports, not layouts/paperspace viewports. This is not new to LT2018 at all.

Are you intending to use modelspace viewports? or paperspace viewports?
What version of LT did you used to use?

LT0212 is too fr back for me to remember if it did this, but in more newer versions you have to use the LAYOUT tab in the Ribbon when you are in a LAYOUT to use LAYOUT commands and features like MVIEW command. See below:
