Autocad 2017LT stuck in a command

I am getting stuck in a command in Acad 2017 LT.  The only way to get out of the command is to do a quick save.

It happens in every command.  It is also happening in different cad files.  ty

Accepted solution

Do a repair reinstall of AutoCAD. Does that fix the problem?

Also is LT updated with the latest patch?
