Auto select rotate upon placing dynamic blocks

Hey all,

At my last job, the CAD manager there had certain blocks which, upon insertion, automatically selected the rotate command. i.e., as soon as you click to place the block, it was free rotating.

I've search for the answer, but everything just tells me how to put the rotate command inside the dynamic block, but I don't know how to make it "auto-jump" to that immediately upon insertion.

Any ideas?

If you are pulling these Blocks from the Palette then right click on the Icon for the block in the Palette.

Select Properties and under the Insert pane at Prompt for Rotation choose Yes.

Or these blocks may have been from Macro Buttons in the Workspace where the Command ROTATE had been added to the Insertion of the block.

Or it is possible, though highly unlikely, that when running the INSERT Command some one at some point checked Specify on Screen for Rotation and somehow no one ever unchecked it.

Three possibilities to look at.
