ArrayClassic command not found in Autocad LT 2018

Hi

I'm referring to this article:

Whenever I try to use this command, I get the message that the command is not found?

If you start typing in the first few letters, does the autocomplete dialog box pop up? If it does what does it show?

Only the array command shows up

That is weird. A command isn't usually removed.

Can you do a screencast so we can see what's happening.

When I type AR on my machine (LT 2016)

Array is the at the top of the dialog box followed by Arraypath and then Arrayclassic.

It's there in 2018 LT, do you have the latest updates installed? any other strange behaviour

Did you alter the pgp file as shown in your original link, because I did manage to break the command by intoducing an error in the acad.pgp file which then gives the prompt that command can't be found.

Did you migrate from an older version when you started using LT2018? Or did you start using it as is OOTB? The command is there if I type it here too.

This is what I get when I type array.

I didn't change any pgp files. This is also a fresh isntallation of last week.

It does seem odd you are not seeing arrayclassic, but you are also not seeing the other arraypath, arrayrect or arraypolar commands. These variations of array are also not available in the cui so they must be loaded differently into Autocad. Maybe you need to re-install, having said that the 3 other array options I mentioned above should actually be available from the Ribbon Home Tab on the Modify panel, or from the Menu Modify tab, do they work from there and looking at the command line what does it tell you, or are they also missing?

I checked, they are listed in the Modify>Array tab. However, when I press them I get an unknown command error. I checked with his collegue (installation is from the same date, same version) and he has the command. I copied his AcArray files to the device with the problems. However without succes!

Doing nothing or just randomly copying files from other installations is never a solution my friend.

Maybe if try to type ARRAYCLASSIC, won´t appear?

Im my 2017 AutoCAd the Array command only shows in line command, then i edit the .pgp file and add a line with the key command " A " and i write " , ARRAYCLASSIC ", then the dialog box appears.

If I would repair the installation, would I lose all my toolpallettes?

Export all your settings. Do a repair install and then import your settings

I repaired the installation, however the arrayclassic is still missing.

If full type-in of "_.ARRAYCLASSIC" with a (new) admin windows profile isn't working..

Export incl. network located stuff and you don't loose things, store the export file far away from autodesk folders.

I checked the registry and it's the same as yours.

export all settings

clean uninstall

clean install WITHOUT any migration

TEST _.ARRAYCLASSIC

Just did the reinstall and it has arrayclassic.

Should I now try to import my settings?
