Array exploded automatically

Hi guys,

I use AutoCAD 2018. While I create an array, I am surprised that the array is exploded automatically without typing EXPLODE command just by itself, so I can't edit it again. Pls, how can I prevent this to be done again ??

Is your ARRAYASSOCIATIVITY (System Variable) set to 0?

My ARRAYASSOCIATIVITY is set to 0, but when i close my array it is already exploded, and i have to start over if i need to adjust it. I have AutoCAD LT 2022

Ever read the help[F1] to this ARRAYASSOCIATIVITY ?

Or was it just a typo??

Looks like you need that variable set to 1 instead.
