Alias PGP File Not Registering in the DWG

--EDIT--  I put the commands in backwards. Can't find how to delete this post, sorry

I just started at a new job and I went to edit my aliases (C to Copy, R to Rotate, etc.). There weren't any other user defined aliases down at the bottom but still, after saving and restarting, C gives me a circle and R gives me Redraw. Is there another file or command from the previous person that is taking precedent over my PGP user defined commands?

Hi @Anonymous,

Glad to see you were able to resolve the issue and thanks for the update in your post. That is great catch (I've done it my self) and a really useful tip to share with the community  🙂

When entering the commands in the Alias Editor,  it is best to leave the main file unaltered and add new shortcuts to the User Defined Command Aliases section at the bottom of the file. The input format is (screen shot below):

Shortcut,    *COMMAND

Capture.JPG

For instructions on how to access this file, see To Edit the Program Parameters (PGP) file | AutoCAD.

All the best,
