Adding a extra line to all lines that are manualy typed in

Hi everyone,

When I draw a line in Autocad and I hit *Tab* To manuely type in the distance, it seems to always add a extra small line at the end which adds distance to my line. I always have to double check and delete the extra.

(Say my distance is 12' -1 3/16", Il draw a line, then hit tab and insert the correct numbers to get my distance)

Anyone having this issue? If so is there a fix? I attached a example.

Correction - I type in the distance then I hit *tab* to go to the angle.

OK, that makes more sense: tried it as a test using your parameters (start LINE command, click start point, enter distance 12' -1 3/16", TAB, enter 45 angle and click a random distance) and I'm not seeing any extra lines or lengths anywhere.

Sorry but I could not follow your video.

I fixed the issue. it seems the problem was with the fraction of an inch. As an exemple il type in 9'-4-1/2" and it will work with out the extra line.

9'4-1/2 is how you would type it at the commandline, no spaces.
