Is there an add-on to Autocad LT 2014 to enable 3d capability?

Not from Autodesk if you are looking to create solids. Try a Google search, just realize that technically it's a violation of your license to add features Autodesk has taken out of LT.

If you mean extruded lines etc though, LT can do that with no add-on: help yourself (turn the volume down if you are in an office) www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHcBV4xz4ZY

AutoCAD LT can draw wireframe 3D and a pseudo shaded 3D by giving a closed polyline a thickness. It can also be used to view objects (solids and surfaces) created in AutoCAD. Once exploded, individual surface objects can be manipulated somewhat similar to doing paper machét. Rendering is limited to basic shademodes.

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted 🙂

One imagines that since AutoCAD 2014 is the 3D software and LT is the 2D version of it, that you ought to pay for the full program which probably has all the 3D capability required.

Bob-Zurunkle is correct in that there is a small amount LT can do. I find it very useful too!
