XLIST and nested Xref'

my question is if I make a base file with multiple xrefs on it when I am in the drawing can you use xlist to see a line from the drawing.

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Yes that should function properly. To test this I created drawing 1 with a line in it. Then I xref'd it into drawing 2. Finally I xref'd drawing 2 into my master file and used XLIST to identify the line.

As an additional tip that I submitted to Lynn Allen's blog a few years ago... Here's how you can make the XLIST dialog box BIGGER in case your xref has long layer names.
