I have spent a lot of time getting autocad to look the way I want it.

YET, WHEN I STARTED IT UP TODAY THIS IS WHAT I SEE.

You fix it by saving your workspace.

Hi,

>>"YOU FIX THIS"
Q1: Who is "YOU"?
Q2: Who are you that you say "YOU FIX THIS"?

>>"I have spent a lot of time getting autocad to look the way I want it"
Yes, it need just minutes if you know how to do that and after that,
it need just seconds to restore it.
But a long time if you don't know how.

Is there q question?

Please note: You started another program! AutoCAD 2018 vs AutoCAD 2019
I guess, if you start AutoCAD2018 it will looks like you leave the program :cara_guiñando_un_ojo:

Hi,

I suggest to go down in your status bar and found Workspace settings icon and save as your current work space .

Didn't you use any migration tool ?

If you start from zero, you will have to enter CUI and set up your install under a workspace of your choice or creation.

There you will be able to open up toolbars.

When done i close the ribbons manually, an habit : RIBBONCLOSE and MENUBAR to 1.

Old fashion too :cara_guiñando_un_ojo:
